THE TRINITY RANGERS ARE:
A group of young people (ages 15-30) from the Lower Mainland excited to hang out, make memories and build life-long friendships. Our heart is to create spaces for young adults with intellectual disabilities and Trinity Western University students and athletes to come together, grow in community with each other, and have conversations about life and faith. We might gather to play games, go to the movies or eat snacks but whatever we do, we laugh a lot and have a lot of fun. As opportunities arise, we also are excited to attend TWU sports games to cheer on our new friends and continue to build memories together.
GAMES NIGHTS
Join us as we gather to hang out, eat snacks, play games, do a scavenger hunt and meet some new friends!
COMMUNITY BUILDING
At the heart of the Trinity Rangers is a desire for friendship. We are constantly looking for ways to create spaces for youth of all abilities to come together and hang out.
SPORTS NIGHTS
As regulations allow, we are invited to go and watch our TWU friends play their sport and cheer them on. Sometimes we may even get a backstage pass to high five them after their games.
COLLABORATION
Partnership with YoungLife Capernaum
At the Heart of the Trinity Rangers is to create a safe space for youth of all disabilities to come to together though sport, games, crafts and other fun activities. Through a collaboration with YoungLife capernaum we make sure each youth/young adult feels invited, welcomed, and needed.
"The event was AMAZING!!!!.I loved spending time with peers my age and the wonderful Trinity friends there, seeing familiar faces from other programs, along with friends new and old. One highlight I could share is the fun and non- forgettable moment when we drew snowmen on our heads, and accepting the challenge of not looking at it as we drew."
